The Bot API is the official interface provided by Telegram itself for creating and running bots, and it is the approved and recommended method directly from the company for automated interaction with accounts and conversations. Unlike other connection methods that simulate a personal account, the bot operates within the frameworks officially defined for it by Telegram via @BotFather.

For this reason, the account ban or restriction rate via this method is considered 0%, because the bot does not violate any usage policy, and operates exactly according to the permissions Telegram grants to this type of account.

Primary Advantage: The bot is completely separate from your personal Telegram account; it is an independent account with its own username (usually starting with @ and ending with bot), and does not affect your phone number or main account at all.

Create a New Bot via BotFather

Before connecting, you need to create your own bot through the official account dedicated for this purpose inside Telegram itself, called BotFather. This step is free and done entirely within the Telegram app:

Open the BotFather chat directly from here, or search for it inside the Telegram app.
Click the Start button (or start the chat) to activate interaction with it.
Send the command /newbot to start creating a new bot.
BotFather will ask you for a display name for the bot (Name) — it can contain any words, and it is the name that will appear to users.
Then it will ask for a username for the bot, which must obligatorily end with the word bot, and be unused by any other bot.
Once the name is accepted, BotFather will send you a confirmation message containing the Token of your bot — a long string of numbers and letters, which is the key you will need in the next step.

📝 Connection Steps Inside ZakiPost

From the Telegram Bot API settings in ZakiPost, you will find only one field waiting for the token.
Return to the BotFather chat and copy the token it sent you after creating the bot.
Paste the token into the "Bot Token" field inside ZakiPost.
Click the "Save Data" button to store the token inside ZakiPost.
After saving, click the "Test Connection" button to verify the token's validity, and the system will display the bot's name and username for confirmation.
Once the confirmation appears, the bot is connected and ready to receive and reply to customer messages instantly.

There is no need to enter a phone number or verification code in this method; the token alone is sufficient to complete the entire connection.

Activate the Bot in Groups

Your bot can interact within any Telegram group, but it does not automatically reply to every message written in the group, to maintain order and not disturb other members. To get a reply from the bot inside a group, the following mechanism must be followed:

Add the bot to the desired group as a regular member.
When sending a message you want the bot to reply to, put a "/" mark right at the beginning of the message without any space, then write your message text, example: /hello how are you
The bot will recognize this mark automatically, process the message, and reply to it inside the group itself.
Messages that do not start with "/" will not be replied to by the bot, and remain as regular messages between members.

Make sure to grant the bot permission to Read Messages inside the group settings if the group uses the default privacy mode, so it can correctly detect messages starting with "/".

Activate the Bot in Channels

To make the bot capable of posting or replying inside a Telegram channel, it is not enough for it to be a subscribed member; it must be added with administrative privileges directly via the mobile app, as follows:

Open the Telegram app on your phone, and go to the channel you want to connect the bot to.
Go to the channel settings, then choose "Administrators".
Click on "Add Admin", and search for the username of the bot you created.
Choose the bot from the search results, and grant it the required permissions (such as sending messages and editing posts) according to your needs.
Save the changes, and the bot will now be able to operate directly inside the channel.

Adding the bot as an admin via the mobile app is a mandatory step from Telegram itself to ensure channel security, and cannot be completed from within ZakiPost or from a browser.
